Whole-body swim analysis

Film your swim.
See what to change.

Set your phone on the pool deck and film a length. Llyr shows you what your stroke is doing, with the correction drawn on your own body.

One phone, four strokes. No wearables, no account.

A swimmer filmed side-on through the waterline. Llyr has drawn his joints and the bones between them across the half of his body above the water. Below the surface the frame is hatched and empty, because the tracker could not see his submerged arm and legs. A swimmer filmed from the side, split by the waterline. Llyr's skeleton is drawn on the half above the water; below it, where the tracker could not see, the frame is hatched and nothing is drawn. 169°

169°His arm angle, measured from the video. Something you cannot feel from inside the water.

LinesDrawn only where Llyr could clearly see the joints.

HatchedHidden by the water. Short gaps are estimated from the frames around them and drawn dashed.

How it works

Llyr's Set up the shot screen: mount the phone, level the angle, frame the swimmer, and film side-on from the pool deck.
FilmStand your phone on the deck, side-on to the lane. Llyr shows you how to frame the shot.
Llyr's live screen with a swimmer split above and below the waterline, the Analyze button along the bottom between the stroke-rate and seconds-per-stroke tiles.
DrawTap Analyze and swim. Llyr checks your whole body, head to toes, and draws what repeats on your own body.

Head to toes

Llyr follows your head, shoulders, arms, hands, torso, hips, legs and feet through every stroke cycle.

Drawn on you

Each correction is drawn on your own body in your own video, with one short cue you can remember mid-set.

Through the water

Water bends light, so Llyr corrects for refraction before it measures. A joint hidden for a moment is estimated and drawn dashed.

Private by default

No account and no sign-up. Your video is processed on your phone and isn't uploaded to us.

Built for you

Every body is built differently

Arms, legs and height differ from swimmer to swimmer. Llyr draws each correction on your own body, in your own video, so you see it on your shape.

Three swimmers of different builds, each drawn side-on on its own. On each one Llyr has drawn the skeleton on that swimmer's own body, circled the elbow where a correction repeats, and dashed the shape to aim for along that swimmer's own arm.
